State Semifinals On Tap Tuesday

The Hoosac Valley Lady Hurricanes and Drury Blue Devils both won Western Mass. championships Saturday and are headed to State semifinals this Tuesday.

Hoosac Valley will take on Central Mass. champion Millbury in a Girls Div. 3 semifinal, scheduled for a 5:30 tip-time at Western New England University in Springfield.

That game will be followed by the Boys Div. 4 semifinal matching Drury against their Central Mass. counterparts from Hopedale.

Both boys and girls squads from Taconic also won Western Mass titles on Saturday. They'll play their respective Div. 2 semifinals Wednesday night at Western New England. Those games will be broadcast on AM 1420 WBEC in Pittsfield starting at 5:20.
