Subway Giving Away 1-Million 6″ Subs Tomorrow…
Update 07/13/21 - According to local Subway management, Pittsfield and Lenox will not be participating in this national Subway promotion today "because of supply issues with some of the products included in the the sandwich."
Original Story 07/12/21
Want a free Subway Sub? Tomorrow Subway is giving away 1-million six-inch Subway sandwiches at “participating” Subway locations. According to Subway Restaurants the 1st 50 guests who visit a Subway between 10 am and 2 pm tomorrow (Tuesday July 13th) and ask will receive a free 6” Turkey Fresh, which features many of Subway's signature new ingredients like smashed avocado, BelGioiso® fresh mozzarella and new deli-sliced thin turkey, all on Subway's new Hearty Multigrain bread according to the press release. According to Subway the promotion is the biggest sampling event in the brand’s history.
Locally there are five Subway locations in Pittsfield, two in Lee, and one in Lenox, Williamstown, North Adams and Great Barrington. We put in calls in to a number of the local Subway’s to find out if they are among the “participating restaurants.” Many calls went unanswered and the three locations that did answer were not familiar with the promotion. We also called the Subway Corporate Headquarters in Milton Connecticut where we ended up in phone limbo.
So, if you want a free 6” Subway Turkey Fresh sub tomorrow take a chance and walk in to your local Subway between 10 and 2 and politely ask for your free Turkey Fresh sub. If you are lucky enough to get one enjoy the freshness of your free lunch. If your local Subway is not participating, and you do not receive one of 1-million subs the company is giving away tomorrow, you can cough up the $6 and change to get one or write it off as a turkey of a promotion. Good luck!
