MassDOT To Install New Sensors And Cameras At Congested Intersection In North Adams
Let's face it, there's nothing more frustrating than being stuck in traffic on the Hadley overpass in North Adams. Or worse, being stuck all the way to State Street. Unfortunately, there's no alternative but to wait patiently or drive all the way around and enter North Adams on Route 8A.

MassDOT To Install New Traffic-Light Cameras And Sensors
According to The Berkshire Eagle, the city of North Adams is working with MassDOT to address these issues by installing new sensors and cameras to improve traffic flow on Route 8 into downtown.
With the Main Street and State Street intersection being overhauled, it wouldn't be a bad idea, in my opinion, to help improve traffic flow at the intersections of Mohawk Trail and Holden Street and Mohawk Trail and Eagle Street, as these intersections can also be frustrating for drivers.
