This is another pleasant spring day in North Adams and around the Berkshires. It's the kind of weather that normally draws people out and about. But our lives are different now under COVID-19 restrictions, and officials have evidently noticed too many individuals out for recreation in public spaces.

To that effect, North Adams Mayor Tom Bernard issued a strong reminder in a Code Red announcement this afternoon:

City playgrounds, basketball courts and the skatepark are closed. Everyone needs to do their part to keep our community healthy and limit the spread of the coronavirus, so that we can get back to our normal lives in the Berkshires.
