The third-seeded Drury Blue Devils posted a win over #11 McCann Tech 85-53 Thursday night in a Western Mass. Boys Division 4 quarterfinal. That earned them a trip to the semifinals at the Curry-Hicks Cage at UMass next week.

They'll be taking on 2-seed Pioneer Regional after the Panthers erased Baystate Academy from the board last night, 74-63. The two teams met in the semis last year, with Pioneer winning on a buzzer-beater. As of Friday morning, the time and date for next week's game had not yet been announced by the MIAA.

The other Boys D-4 semi has top-seeded Ware, a 78-48 winner over Lee, taking on #4 Monson.

Tonight, three North Berkshire girls teams will look to punch their tickets to the Cage. After a first-round bye, Div. 3 second-seed Hoosac 0Valley hosts #7 Sabis in a quarterfinal. On the other side of the bracket, #8 Drury will look to keep their season alive when they visit top-seeded South Hadley.

In Div.4, it's #6 McCann Tech at #3 Hopkins. Tonight's games all start at 7:00.

Also, the NCAA Division 3 Men's Tourney comes to Williamstown today. The Williams Ephs will take on Husson at 7:30 following the 5:30 opener featuring SUNY-Plattsburgh vs. Gwynedd-Mercy. The winners play Saturday at 7 P.M. in Chandler Gym to advance to the next round.
