Free classes and materials are available again this fall at the Northern Berkshire Adult Basic Education Program.
Corinne Zinni Case, M.Ed., Employment Readiness Coach, Instructor, tells us that the program, available to those age 16 and up, helps people increase academic learning, prepare for their high school credential, and/or find a pathway to college or career. In addition, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is offered at no cost.
You can also find out about the special programs for at-risk youth, with the North Adams Community Development Grant assisting residents paying for exam costs. Case also says there are plans to offer PCA Fundamentals later this semester.
The Northern Berkshire Adult Basic Education Program is based at 375 Church Street, in the Freel Library on the MCLA Campus in North Adams. You can call 413-662-5513 or go online for more information.
