A sunny start in the Berkshires today…but going downhill late this afternoon and through the weekend…
Enjoy the sunshine today because according to the National Weather Service we can expect showers and thunderstorms through the weekend. We could even see that wet weather creep into the Berkshires later this afternoon after 4pm with the increased chance of showers and a thunderstorm.
Both on Saturday and Sunday the forecast is calling for showers with the threat of thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain. Especially on Saturday. We wish we had a better outlook for your weekend plans, but as you know weather in New England can change. Let’s keep the faith and hope for just enough rain to water the garden and not cause the flash flooding that affected parts of the Berkshires this earlier this week. Of course, nothing to the extent of the flash floods in Europe that have claimed over 100 lives over the last couple of days.
