Spring must be just around the corner, because tonight we "spring forward" to Daylight Saving Time.

DST officially begins at 2 A.M. Sunday March 8, so before you go to bed tonight be sure to turn your clocks ahead 1 hour. Otherwise you'll be an hour late for breakfast, Sunday services, or anything else you have to do when you wake up tomorrow.

The twice-yearly clock change dates are also good times to check the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors, and replace them if necessary.

Be safe and be on time when Daylight Saving Time begins 2 A.M. Sunday.
