Snowing in the Berkshires…More Snow Showers Expected Tonight

The National Weather Service has posted a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the Berkshires. The area is experiencing snow this afternoon and will continue off and on tonight. Temps will continue to drop at or below freezing. Some surfaces may ice up tonight. No major accumulation is predicted. If you planted flowers or dropped some vegetable starters into the ground it might be advisable to cover exposed plants as temps will continue to drop tonight.

Tomorrow we can expect a cold day with gusty winds up to 45 mph. The Berkshires will get some relief on Friday and into the weekend as temperatures are expected to be in the mid 50s on Friday and into the 60s on Saturday.
