
Massachusetts, New York Braces For More Plowable Snow This Weekend
Parts of Massachusetts, along with New York, and Connecticut could see 7 or more inches of snow Saturday night into Sunday as a long-duration storm will bring a combination of messy winter weather and potentially slick travel conditions across the region.

The Latest From The National Weather Service
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch which will take effect Saturday afternoon into Sunday evening for parts of Western Massachusetts, east central, and eastern New York, plus southern Vermont, and parts of Connecticut.

What To Expect For This Weekend
They're calling for heavy mixed precipitation possible with total snow accumulations of 7 inches or more along with a mix of ice of up to one tenth of an inch. Temperatures will rise into the 40s near the coast on Sunday before crashing back into the 20s at night when precipitation will end with more snow across the region.
Sunshine On The Way Along With Cold Temperatures
Back on Monday, just in time for Presidents Day the region will see sunshine but it will be cold and blustery with highs only in the 20s and low 30s each day, along with lows near 10 degrees each night.

The National Weather Service says to simply just keeping monitoring the latest forecasts and updates on this situation throughout the weekend.
