In Adams they say, "Party on Sunday, Ramble on Monday"!  The Fall Foliage fun spotlight shifts to the town every Columbus Day holiday weekend for the annual Ramblefest and Greylock Ramble.

Ramblefest is the party, and it's this Sunday, from Noon to 5 at the Adams Visitors Center on Hoosac St. It's an afternoon filled with lots of food, craft beer, local wines, vendors, activities for the kids courtesy of Youth Center Inc., and much more. Henry the Juggler will be there, and there's music this year from Up In The Air and The Remedy.. Admission is free! You can check out Ramblefest on Facebook for updates.

Berkshire Running Center is organizing the Ramblefest 15K/2 Person Relay as part of Sunday's fun, starting at 10 A.M. And Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum will be offering historic train rides directly across the street from RambleFest at the Adams Station.

Then on Monday, it's the traditional Greylock Ramble as hikers of all ages make their way up to the state's highest point, the 3,489-foot summit of Mt. Greylock. Once again this year for the Ramble's 52nd edition, free shuttles will run from the Adams Free Library to and from the base of the Cheshire Harbor Trail from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. After conquering the mountain on foot, you'll get a certificate of completion.
