Drury Boys Will Play for W. Mass Title Saturday

The Drury Blue Devils will play for a Western Mass basketball championship, after a thrilling 76-72 overtime win over Pioneer Regional in last night's Boys Div. 4 semifinal.

In the game heard on WNAW, Drury came back from as many as 11 down in the second half to tie it at 65 and force the OT. Scott McGuire led all scorers with 37 for the 3rd seeded Blue Devils who advance to Saturday's championship game against top-seeded Ware. But wait, there's more! The 2nd seeded Hoosac Valley Hurricanes have a Girls Div. 3 semifinal tonight at the Cage against Berkshire County foe & 3rd seeded Wahconah. The winner will play for the W.Mass title Saturday at 2:00 against the winner of tonight's South Hadley/Greenfield semi.
