Berkshire Health Systems Test Site in North Adams Expands Operation to Fill Testing Needs

With the increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the state and the country more testing sites are being setup across the region. A North Adams testing site that has been in operation but with limited days and hours of operation has expanded both days of operation and with expanded hours.

The Berkshire Health Systems has expanded their testing hours and days of operation in North Adams. As of today, the testing facility will be open 7 days a week from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm.

The testing site is not at the hospital but at 98 Church Street in North Adams next to the Public Library. To schedule a testing appointment call 1-855-BMC-LINK (855-262-5465). That hotline is staffed from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily. You do not have to be a resident of North Adams to take advantage of the testing program.

In Worcester a pop up field hospital at the DCU Center is now open to help with the overflow of COVD-19 patients. The field hospital was created over the summer to help relieve the tension on local hospitals. it was shutdown when the numbers dropped in the state but it has again reopened.
