Beacon Recovery Community Center Open House May 14

An Open House will be held to celebrate the Beacon Recovery Community Center at The Green, 85 Main St., North Adams. The BRCC is a new program of the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition that provides peer support to those seeking and maintaining recovery from addiction.

Everyone is welcome on Tuesday, May 14 from 5-7 P.M. to meet and chat with nbCC staff and volunteer peer leaders and see first hand what they offer to the Northern Berkshire Community. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a few welcoming remarks at 5:30 from Amber Besaw, Executive Director of nbCC, followed by remarks from BRCC peer leaders.

The community center has open hours on Wednesdays from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Green and is free and open to all. You'll be able to find out more about the BRCC on this Thursday's Community Insight show, heard live on AM1230 WNAW and wnaw.com at 8:30 A.M.
