A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 7pm tonight through 1pm tomorrow for the Berkshires as the first of two weather events will happen today and again later in the week.  The Berkshires will experience snow, freezing rain and sleet throughout the day today and on the overnight ending tomorrow afternoon.

We won’t see much accumulation of snow but driving and walking conditions will be dangerous on untreated roads and walkways.  Later in the week we are expected to be hit with another storm delivering more snow beginning Thursday afternoon into Friday.  If the storm continues to develop as it approaches the northeast, it should leave some snow accumulation and may also mix with sleet and freezing rain before it come to an end on Friday.  Below is the complete long-range forecast.
