Listen to New Country 94.7 beginning next week for your chance to win a trip to Florida in the middle of winter to see one of country music’s biggest acts.

Starting on Monday WNAW will be giving you four codewords every weekday.  Drop those codewords into the WNAW App to qualify to win a trip to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood Florida to see Old Dominion.

New Country’s “Escape to Florida with Old Dominion” is sponsored by Sony Nashville.  The Old Dominion show is on Friday, December 10th.  The winner will get hotel accommodations, airfare to and from Florida for two, and $500 spending money.

So, starting this Monday, October 18th listen for the ‘Escape to Florida with Old Dominion” codewords four times every weekday at 8:20a, 11:20a, 1:20p, and 4:20p.

There are two ways to enter the codewords to qualify.  You can sign up for the contest through the New Country 94.7 website at www.wnaw.com or for convivence since you always have your smartphone (life support system) with you, sign up through the WNAW App.  If you don’t currently have the App, you can download it for free in the App Store or Google Play depending on the type of device that you have.

Old Dominion broke onto the country music scene in 2016 winning the Academy of Country Music Awards for New Vocal or Group of the Year and Breakthrough Group/Duo of the Year.  They were also nominated for Vocal Group of the Year and Group/Duo of the Year but did not take home those awards according to Wikipedia.  They did end up winning the Vocal Group of the Year from the ACM a couple of years later in 2018.  They have gone on to win additional awards from the Country Music Association, the CMT Music Awards, and other awards from the ACM. Some of Old Dominion’s big hits include; One Man Band, Make It Sweet, I Was On A Boat That Day, to name a few.
