Polka Picnic In Adams MA Features Music, Polish Food & More

If you're an Adams native like me, you're probably well familiar with the Polish picnics at Polanka Grounds. After all, Adams is home to its Polish heritage.

I look forward to it every year, not only as a volunteer supporting the community but also as someone with Polish in my blood. And the best part is that this event doesn't break the bank!

Polka Picnic Details

The annual Polka Picnic is this weekend, only on Sunday, August 23, 2026, put on by The Parish Family of Saint John Paul II. Gates will open at noon for parking. Parking is available on the grounds and on nearby streets. Admission is only $5 for adults, and children 12 and under are free!

The Eddie Forman Orchestra from Hadley, Massachusetts, will provide music and dancing from 1-5 p.m. Yours Truly will provide music during the band's intermission breaks.

Food Menu: Polish And American Food!

Freshly imported and homemade traditional Polish foods will be available for purchase. Special thanks to David Nicholas and his team at Bounti-Fare Restaurant & Catering for helping with food preparation each year.

The Adams Lions Club, with their brand-new trailer, will be there serving traditional cookout fare and homemade desserts. I heard through the grapevine that fried dough is on the menu!

How To Get To The Polka Picnic

The Polka Picnic will take place at The Polanka Grounds on Mill Street in Adams, Massachusetts. All you have to do is enter 'Mill Street' into your GPS, and it will take you right there.

If you're coming from the North on Columbia Street, turn left onto Hoosac Street, then left again onto Mill Street. If you're coming from the South on Park Street, turn right onto Hoosac Street, then left onto Mill Street.
