Longtime Hooters Location In West Springfield Has Closed Permanently
It's been a few years since I've eaten at a Hooters. I remember all the different hot sauces they offered with the chicken wings, thinking, "Man, how can someone order the spiciest sauce on the menu?"
Of course, being the wimp that I am, I went with the mildest sauce for the wings, plus I couldn't pass up on a burger and fries. Unfortunately, if you want to get your "Hooters fix" now, you may need to look for alternative locations.

Hooters Location On Riverdale Street In West Springfield Closes Permanently
If you're familiar with Riverdale Street in West Springfield, there have been a lot of changes in the past decade, with new businesses coming and going. Recently, a sign was posted on the door at this Hooters location informing patrons that the location had unfortunately closed. Here's what the sign said:
“After much deliberation, we’ve made the difficult decision to close this location. We are incredibly grateful for the many years of great times, cold beer, hot wings, and unforgettable memories shared here. Thank you to our guests, team members, and community for the support over the years.”
This comes after the restaurant had been posting on its Facebook page, encouraging patrons to visit for Father’s Day. According to WWLP, Hooters closed dozens of restaurants, including the Shrewsbury location, in May after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
