Veterans Day

Celebrate Veterans Day at Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence with live music, family fun, and food trucks serving up tasty local bites and half-off admission for veterans.

Many restaurants are showing their thanks today by providing a significant discount or a free meal to veterans and active duty service members.

The City of Pittsfield Office of Veterans’ Services has announced that its annual Veterans Day Parade will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11.

With Veterans Day, November 11, falling on a Sunday this year, the legal holiday will be observed on Monday. Many local ceremonies, however, will be held Sunday.

The City of North Adams will hold its Veterans Day parade and ceremony starting at 10:40 A.M. this Sunday, Nov 11.
