With the rich history that Massachusetts has, it happens to be home to some of the oldest towns and cities in the country. Therefore, it would only make sense that it's also home to some of the oldest establishments in our country's history, too, right? For example, some of the oldest bars in America are right here in the Bay State. As it turns out, Massachusetts is home to three of the absolute oldest bars in America! In fact, each of those three establishments are just about as old as America.

It's always exciting any time a new spot comes to the area. Now there's a new unique bar & restaurant making its way to upstate New York. And it definitely seems like the type of spot anyone would be down to make a road trip for.

According to WCVB, a restaurant in the Fenway neighborhood known as Thornton's Fenway Grille on Peterborough Street in Boston, Massachusetts not far from Fenway Park permanently closed as of 4pm on Monday, October 14 announced on their Facebook page.

We all know that Massachusetts has an incredibly rich history. And because of this, it also is home to some of the oldest cities and towns in the country. Therefore, it only makes sense that it's also home to some of the absolute oldest places in the history of the country, too, right? Like, for example, some of the oldest bars in America are here in the Bay State. Massachusetts has not just one, not two, but three of the oldest bars in America! In fact, each of these three establishments are about as old as America.

If you're going to be out and about on the town, you might as well do it with a view. Rooftop bars always seem to bring a little something extra to the vibe for your night out, and as it turns out, Massachusetts is home to one that ranks among the best rooftop bars throughout the U.S.
