As pitchers and catchers report to the Red Sox Spring Training camp in Florida today, Mookie Betts and David Price get set to head off to the L.A. Dodgers facility in Arizona instead.

According to mlb.com, a straight deal was finalized after an original deal also involving the Minnesota Twins was reworked due to Boston management's concerns over the medical records of Twins pitcher Brusdar Graterol, who now goes to L.A instead in a separate deal with Minnesota.

The Sox are sending Betts, Price and cash out west in exchange for outfielder Alex Verdugo, who was in the original trade last week. But now Boston also receives two Dodgers prospects, infielder Jeter Downs and catcher Connor Wong.

He was also third-base coach for the Dodgers team that lost to the Astros in the now-controversial 2017 World Series.
