In Adams they say, "Party on Sunday, Ramble on Monday"!  The Fall Foliage fun spotlight shifts to the town every Columbus Day holiday weekend for the annual Ramblefest and Greylock Ramble.

Ramblefest is the party, and it's this Sunday, from Noon to 5 at the Adams Visitors Center on Hoosac St. Organized by the community group ProAdams, it's an afternoon filled with lots of food, family fun, craft beer, vendors--and music from The Rejuvenators and Randy Cormier. Admission is free!  Berkshire Running Center is also organizing the Ramblefest 15K/2 Person Relay as part of Sunday's fun.
You can check out Ramblefest on Facebook for updates.

Then on Monday, it's the traditional Greylock Ramble as hikers of all ages make their way up to the state's highest point, the 3,489-foot summit of Mt. Greylock. Once again this year for the Ramble's 51st edition, free shuttles will run from the Adams Free Library to and from the base of the Cheshire Harbor Trail from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. After conquering the mountain on foot, you'll get a certificate of completion. Full details are available here.
