So we turned the clocks back last weekend, celebrated Halloween, and several stores have already started their Christmas sales. Who's up for a bit of snow?

Forecasters are watching two systems that could combine to bring us some wintry precipitation Thursday night into Friday. Since this is only Tuesday, that's a long way off for storm forecasts like these, but it's worth mentioning since it could be the season's first measurable snowfall.

The National Weather Service today was calling for rain Thursday night, changing to snow overnight, with still a chance of snow Friday morning. No accumulation totals were listed as yet.

Our friends at AccuWeather were willing to be a bit more adventurous. Looking ahead to Thursday night into Friday they say we could see 2 to 4 inches of snow.

There's still plenty of time for changes, but there is one thing forecasters seem to agree on: there will be plenty of cold air coming in with the storm. Highs are expected in the low 30's for Friday, dropping into the teens Friday night.
