A Clarksburg man, who was wanted in connection with a shooting last week in Adams, has been arrested in Connecticut.

Gage Sherman, 20, is one of three suspects in the Wednesday shooting of an Adams man in a home on North Summer Street.

According to a statement from the Berkshire District Attorney's Office, He was taken into custody in Bristol on Friday, on unrelated charges,

A warrant seeking his return to the state to answer to charges in the Wednesday shooting has been submitted to Connecticut authorities.  Sherman will be arraigned on a charge of unarmed robbery when he is returned to Massachusetts. With the investigation ongoing, it is possible he will face other criminal charges.

The victim in the Adams shooting, who was shot on North Summer Street several times and who has not been named by authorities, remains hospitalized at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. Authorities are seeking two other suspects in the Adams shooting.
