A team of Boston Bruins alumni will lace up the skates and jump on the ice in North Adams this Saturday for a youth hockey benefit game.

The former pros will take on a team of Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey League Alumni to celebrate 50 years of hockey in North Berkshire. In a post on the event's Facebook page, the Bruins roster lists players like Andrew Raycroft, Reggie Lemelin, Bob Sweeney, Steve Leach, Dave Shaw and others, coached by 14-year NHL vet Rick Middleton. They'll face off against NBYHL alums coached by Guy Cariddi.

The teams will take to the ice this Saturday, January 11 at 3 PM at the Peter W. Foote Vietnam Veterans Memorial Skating Rink, 1267 South Church Street in North Adams. Tickets are $20 and all the funds raised go to supporting the next 50 years of hockey in North Berkshire. Food and beverages will be available and there will be raffles and a 50-50 to add to the fun. You can buy tickets in advance online or at the door.
