Adams Woman Hurt In Pownal, Vt., ATV Accident

The Berkshire Eagle  reports an  Adams woman suffered head injuries Sunday night when her ATV flipped and rolled over several times in Pownal, Vermont State Police said.

Police say Lauren Holmes, 21, was riding on Schenkar Road near the intersection of County Road about 12:20 a.m. when she crashed, . She was not wearing a helmet.

She was transported to Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield for treatment.

Williamstown Police responded and helped in the investigation, and Pittsfield Police assisted by conducting follow up investigation at the hospital. Information on the victim's condition was not available Tuesday.

The investigation is continuing.
