It looks like 6 is the magic number this week. MASS MoCA made a list of 6 especially photo-worthy wedding venues, and Massachusetts, specifically Western Mass. was included among 6 states in a federal grant to fight opioid abuse. So, here are 6 things to do around our area this weekend.

Collect Autumn's bounty: North Adams Farmers Market is still open Saturdays 9-1 at the municipal parking lot across from St. Elizabeth's Church, with vendors offering home-grown and home-made seasonal favorites.

Check out new happenings at an old familiar spot: This Saturday 8-11 A.M., it's Wigwam Cars & Coffee at the Western Summit off of Route 2 Mohawk Trail. Enjoy a coffee & donut while checking out some cool cars and the spectacular fall foliage from a favorite viewing spot.

Take a "hike": Undefeated through the first half of their NESCAC season, 4-0 Williams hosts 2-2 Middlebury. Kickoff is at 2:00 Saturday at Farley-Lamb Field, just off Spring St., Williamstown.

Ride the train: Hoosac Valley Fall Foliage Train Rides depart from/return to the Train Depot in Adams. Check out their website for fares and schedules.

Run through the leaves: Enjoy the fall colors while joining area runners and walkers for MCLA's 41st annual Sam Gomez Race to benefit the Growing Healthy Garden Program, which creates community gardens. It's this Sunday, Oct. 14 from 11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M., sponsored by the Student Government Ass'n. at MCLA.

Take a look around: Relax & do a little leaf peeping even if it's just on your street on in your backyard. Because all too soon, the beauty of the season will fade and fall.

Enjoy your weekend!
