The Berkshire Eagle reports residents will vote in three contested races during this year's town election on Tuesday.

Two seats are open on the Planning Board: a two-year seat left vacant by Ann McCallum, and a three-year seat now filled by Chris Kapiloff are up for election.

Stephanie Boyd and Michael Goodwin are running for Kapiloff's seat, and Alexander Carlisle and John Spelman are seeking to fill McCallum's.

As for the Williamstown Elementary School Committee, incumbent Catherine Keating and newcomers Robert Matthews and Elizabeth Miller are vying for two open seats.

The committee is due to disband in July because of regionalization. In November, residents will elect Williamstown candidates to four seats on the seven-member regional school committee.

Selectman Anne O'Connor and Library Trustee Charles Bonenti, both incumbents, are running unopposed for three-year terms.

Timothy Rickert is also unopposed for a three-year term on the Northern Berkshire Vocational Regional School Committee.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Williamstown Elementary School at 115 Church Street.
