Many restaurants say it's taken too long. But as of today, eateries that have been trying to get by on takeout or sidewalk service can allow customers back indoors. Gov. Charlie Baker's order last week allows restaurants to again seat people inside, with no capacity limits.

However, by requiring that tables be six feet apart, and banning seating at bars, most establishments will find themselves hitting limits on how many they serve. Customers are being asked to come in groups of six at the most. Time will soon tell how ready customers are to go back inside.

Capacity limits are in place for offices, which, as of today, can return to half their normal workforce levels.
