The Alzheimer’s Association’s Berkshire Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail at Farnams Road Causeway, off Route 8.

Nearly 600 people are expected at this year’s event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease.

Walk participants will complete a 2-mile walk and will learn about the disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment, and support programs and services.

Walk participants will also honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease with a Promise Garden ceremony.

Sign up as a team captain, join a team or register to walk as an individual at act.alz.org/Berkshire.
