Don't let the ongoing drama in Washington distract you from the opportunity to make your voice known in this year's elections. The Commonwealth of Mass. will hold its Presidential Primary Election on Tuesday March 3.

If you're not already enrolled, the last day to register to vote or make changes to the voters lists used on Primary Election Day is Wednesday, Feb.12.

In North Adams, a notice from Board of Registrars of Voters Chairman Elizabeth DiLego says that in addition to being available for registration during regular business hours, the City Clerk's office in City Hall at 10 Main St. will be open extended hours from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. on Feb.12. You should check with your local town clerk for specific hours.

You can also register online in Massachusetts and get more information through the state's website.

To be eligible to vote in the March primary you must be 18 years of age on or before March 3, 2020, a U.S. citizen, and a resident of the city or town in which you're registered to vote.
