Three Berkshires Women Named ‘Unsung Heroines’

Three Berkshire County women were named Unsung Heroines for 2019 during ceremony on Tuesday at the State House in Boston.

IBerkshires.com  reports that State Sen. Adam Hinds nominated Donna Cesan because of her dedication to community, having served as Community Development Director and interim Town Administrator for the town of Adams for 19 years.

State Rep. John Barrett III nominated Elizabeth Mitchell, a North Adams resident and advocate for domestic violence victims with the Elizabeth Freeman Center.

And state Rep. Tricia Farley-Bouvier nominated Marie Richardson of Pittsfield, a caseworker in the Pittsfield Public Schools
