The Average American Laughs Eight Times a Day

According to the web site SWNS,  the average American laughs eight times a day, according to a new survey. I know for a fact I laugh at least three times more than that. But that’s me and I digress.

The survey also looked at the most universally funny things that get a chuckle out of us.  And it's a big win for fathers everywhere because dad jokes made the list.  Here are the top 10 things that make us laugh . . .

Things our kids say.

Sitcoms on TV.

Memes and animal videos.

Reality TV.

Dad jokes.

People mispronouncing words.

Bad photos of people.

Puns.

Watching someone trip and fall.

Honestly, I’m a little surprised that wasn't #1.
