Stray Bullet May Have Broken A Window In North Adams Restaurant
Police are investigating a potential shot fired from outside that broke a window of a Holden Street restaurant on Thursday afternoon.
The Berkshire Eagle reports Public Eat and Drink was closed on Thursday as police determine why what appears to be a bullet came through the restaurant's north-facing window, according to North Adams Police Director Michael Cozzaglio.
The incident was first reported at about 2:46 p.m.. At 4:17 p.m., a Public employee called police to report he "found what may have been the object that broke the window," according to police dispatcher logs. The restaurant was closed down as a crime scene about 20 minutes later.
The Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services unit was called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
No arrests have been made.
