For Arthur Smith and other tenants at St. Joseph's Court during the past few weeks, paying the bills was proving to be a logistical challenge.

But, come Friday, mail delivery will return after the post office and property management worked out a new procedure for delivering the mail without risk of infection.

Local officials with the U.S. Postal Service on Tuesday said they and management of the complex have found a way to deliver the mail and still keep everyone protected from possible exposure to the coronavirus. Under the new procedure, an employee of management will be present when the mail carrier comes in and will be sure to keep residents out of the area while the mail is being delivered.
