According to the Clarence Fanto, Berkshire Eagle correspondent, the leading edge of cooler air approaching from the Great Lakes is on a collision course with the region's tropical air mass, with expected arrival on Tuesday along with a 50-50 chance of thunderstorms.

That should be welcome news to most who have been sweltering under the sun's relentless pounding these past few weeks ,or is it months ,while also keeping an I the electric meter whirling round and round providing relief from the heat.....at a cost of course.
