Opening Day Forecast and the Weekend Outlook for the Berkshires
The calendar flipped to April this week but spring-like weather took a step backwards. Cold with snow flurries yesterday will be followed by more snow flurries and cold temps today and tonight. The weather yesterday didn’t even cooperate with the start of the MLB season and opening day at Fenway forcing the cancelation of the first game of the season between the Red Sox and the Orioles.
This weekend the sun will come out and temperatures will gradually warm into the mid 40s tomorrow and possibly hitting 50 on Sunday. For opening day today, the Boston forecast is calling for partly sunny skies at game-time with a temperature in the low 40s. For those backyard gardener’s that have already planted some flowerbeds, you will want to cover flowers tonight as temps will be dropping into the teens tonight.
