North Adams Man Robs Convenience Store

The Berkshire Eagle  reports  police are searching for a man who robbed the new Valero convenience store and gas station on State Road on Sunday morning.

The suspect entered the store about 11:15 a.m. with his face partly covered by a black rag, according to a statement from the North Adams Police Department.

There was no weapon displayed. Surveillance video shows the man approaching the store from the west on State Road, and returning the same way.

He was wearing a baggy, grey hooded sweatshirt with "Nike" on the front of it, and baggy blue jeans.

Anyone with more information regarding the suspect or who saw someone in the neighborhood between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Sunday is asked to contact detectives at 413-662-3105.
