Law enforcement members from around Berkshire County will host the third annual Humvee Push Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Walmart Supercenter, 1415 Curran Memorial Highway.

Teams of five will raise $100 minimum for Special Olympics Massachusetts, and then work together to push the Berkshire County Sheriff's Office Humvee 40 yards as fast as possible. Teams will range from Police, Fire and EMS to community groups.

This event is sponsored by the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Torch Run. Upcoming fundraising events include the North Adams Cop-on-Top on Nov. 9, the Lee Sweater Fun Run/Walk on Nov. 10, and the Pittsfield Cop-on-Top on Dec. 7-8
