In honor of the centennial of the end of World War I, the North Adams Historical Society has opened "World War I 100th" in the temporary gallery on the first floor of the North Adams Museum of History and Science, Building 5A, Western Gateway Heritage State Park.

The exhibit runs through the fall. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays; 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays, and by appointment at 413-664-4700 or nahs@bcn.net.

The exhibit includes information and photos on local men who served primarily in France during the campaigns as well as memorabilia brought back with those who returned.

Admission is free and the first floor is handicap accessible.
