North Adams: Free Baby Gear at Pop-Up Event

It Takes a Village, a nonprofit organization based in Cummington, will offer free maternity, infant and children's clothing and gear during a one-day "pop-up" event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Berkshire Medical Center North Campus, 71 Hospital Ave., in the main entrance lobby.

Families will be able to "shop" for free baby and children's clothing, outerwear, shoes, and diapers. In addition, donations of clean children's clothing and disposable and cloth diapers will be collected at the event.

There are no income or residency requirements to participate. A number of other organizations will be in attendance to share resources with families.
