There will be no contested races in Cheshire during this May election, a far cry from recent balloting that attracted quite a bit of interest for the Board of Selectmen.
iBerkshires.com reports this town election, seats will mostly be filled with incumbents with only a few newcomers trying their hand at town government.
Incumbent Jason Levesque  will run unopposed for a seat on the Board of Selectmen. He was elected last May to finish the last year of term left vacant by Town Administrator Edmund St. John IV, who had quit to apply for his current post.
Another incumbent, Adam Emerson, will seek to return to the Hoosac Valley Regional School Committee.
