Hijinx Night in Adams will look a lot different this year. First of all, it's not at night. Second, it's not happening on Park Street.

This year's fun community event is coming up this Sunday, July 21 from 2-7 PM on Bowe Field in Adams. A volunteer group took over the annual festivities in order to keep the tradition alive. According to their Facebook posts, the move to Bowe Field allows for a lot more activities in a larger space. The time change allows families to enjoy the fun before dark.

Plenty of activities will be going on, with vendors, games, food, and entertainment on hand. There was even a petting zoo planned, but organizers say that's been canceled for the safety of the animals, due to the high heat & humidity that's forecast for Sunday.

They also emphasize that there is no admission charge or parking fee for Hijinx 2019. Everyone's invited to come out and have a good time, rain or shine.
