RSVP of Berkshire County's "Wheels for Wellness" program is rolling again starting on Tuesday, June 1st.  Wheels for Wellness is a free ride service for all Berkshire Country residents in need of transportation to wellness related activities according to a post on the City of Pittsfield’s Facebook page.

Wellness related activities include medical and social service appointments, fitness classes, therapy, and transportation to vaccine sites.  Rides are available between 8 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon Monday through Friday.  To schedule an appointment, you can call the Wheels for Wellness hotline at 413-395-0109 between 8:30 and 4 pm Monday through Friday.

Please keep in mind that masks are required on public transportation.  Both guest and driver will be required to wear a mask until further notice.  Riders must also be fully ambulatory and able to get themselves in and out of the vehicle without assistance.

In addition to RSVP of Berkshire County, this wonderful program is also in partnership with Berkshire Community Health, Berkshire Fallon Health Collaborative, Community Health Programs, Berkshire Interfaith Organizing, and Berkshire Health Systems, Berkshire Fallon Health Collaborative, Community Health Programs, Berkshire Interfaith Organizing, and Berkshire Health Systems.
