The start of the weekend will be cloudy with some showers but Sunday will improve enough to put a smile on Mom's face with the return of the sun in time for some pleasant outdoor activities for Mom's special day.  Temperatures will be seasonable with a high both days in the middle to upper 50s.

The long-range forecast is not calling for any major storms, or even beautiful May weather.  It looks like a mix next week with temps remaining in the mid-50s for the week.
