The Massachusetts State Police have added a man wanted for murder to the MSP Most Wanted Fugitives list.  Jeffery Beltre-Rojas is a suspect in a homicide in Worcester following a shooting a year ago according to the release by the Mass State Police.  Killed was Luis Tiro-Romero who died from his injuries earlier this year after being shot inside a Worcester residence.

MSP describe Beltre-Rojas as 5'7" tall, 27-years of age, about 250 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.  Additional details on his appearance released by police state he's got a mole on his left cheek and multiple tattoos on his neck and arms.  One tattoo is described as a pair of lips on the left side of his neck.  Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

In the Mass State Police post, it was late afternoon on July 9th last year when Worcester Police responded to a home where they found Tiro-Romero in the hallway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He was transported to the hospital and later died this past January from the injuries he sustained in the shooting.
An investigation by police identified Beltre-Rojas as the suspect in the shooting.  Originally charged with armed assault with intent to murder, following the victim’s death, the charges against BELTRE-ROJAS were upgraded to murder.  According to the MSP post, two co-defendants are in custody while Beltre-Rojas has evaded capture.
The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section is working with Worcester Police to locate BELTRE-ROJAS and take him into custody. Anyone who sees him, or has knowledge of his whereabouts, is asked to call the MSP Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section immediately at 1-800-KAPTURE (1-800-527-8873) or to call 911.
