A Pittsfield man is being held on bail after allegedly stealing a North Adams man’s car and going on a shopping spree with stolen credit cards on  last week.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that 38-year-old Jerrod Kendig allegedly broke into a Hall Street couple’s apartment and stole their Honda Civic and several credit cards.

The victim told police that he woke up at 4 am and discovered that his apartment’s rear door was ajar – but he didn’t initially realize his vehicle was missing.
