Free Ice Cream Will Be Available in South Berkshire This Tuesday
This year's Sounds of Summer concert series at the Great Barrington VFW has been a bit strange, to say the least. Mother Nature was not interested in playing nice this year, and the first four concerts were canceled due to the weather. That has never happened before.
Finally, this past Tuesday, Sounds of Summer took place with the band Side-Eye Riley, and it was a great night. The weather was great, and there was plenty of dancing. The band did a stellar job.
If you have never been to Sounds of Summer before, it's a free concert that takes place Tuesday evenings in July and August at the Great Barrington VFW from 6- 8 pm. The concerts are free and open to the public. Only two concerts are remaining for this season (August 11 and 18), and we are praying that the weather cooperates.
Of course, Sounds of Summer couldn't happen without the incredible sponsors and support, including NBT Bank, The Giant Haddad Dealerships, Fairview Hospital, the Great Barrington VFW, Mount Everett Sanitation, Catamount Sound's Brad Licht, Rustik Eats, and Monterey T-Shirts.
You won't want to miss this Tuesday's concert because, in addition to having the incredible Rev Tor Band entertain you, there will be a delicious treat you'll want to eat.
NBT Bank will be bringing their ice cream truck, and the staff will be serving up free ice cream. That's right, the ice cream will be 100% free. This is all weather permitting, of course, but you don't want to miss out on a fun night of live music and delicious ice cream. We'll see you there.
