Surf Rock Legends Playing the Big E! in Massachusetts This Fall

Folks across Massachusetts look forward to the fun, games and of course, the food that the Big E brings to our corner of the state every fall. A staple of the season in Massachusetts, nothing is as bittersweet as summer ending and transitional into fall as the fairgrounds are transformed.

Besides, butter carving, carnival rides, and spectacular shopping the Big E offers it also brings musical acts from all over the globe to Springfield, Massachusetts. Over the years, artists like Diana Ross, Dolly Parton, Lynyrd Skynard, and even Destiny's Child have graced the stage at different points in their careers and this year's musical line-up is shaping up to be spectacular.

The Beach Boys Announce a Big E! Performance for Fall 2026

The Big E's 2026 musically line-up was already pretty stacked with everyone from Brad Paisley, to Alice Cooper to Jessie Murph, but the recent announcement that the iconic Beach Boys would take the stage has put it over the top.

Led by co-founder Mike Love and long-time member Bruce Johnston, The Beach Boys continue to honor an unmatched musical legacy. Love, a 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, co-wrote the band’s most timeless hits, including "California Girls," "Kokomo," and the masterpiece "Good Vibrations."

Rather than retiring after major milestones like their 1988 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, the group maintains a rigorous global touring schedule. They have performed for massive audiences at historic events like Live Aid, the Super Bowl, and a legendary July 4th concert playing to nearly two million fans.
The band remains firmly in the cultural spotlight through recent high-profile multimedia projects. Their revolutionary sound and iconic California aesthetic were celebrated globally in a 2023 CBS Grammy tribute special and a definitive 2024 Disney+ documentary. Together, the current lineup keeps their message of unfading youth alive for listeners worldwide.
