We are heartbroken to pass along the news this morning that Country music icon Toby Keith has passed away at the age of 62.

The announcement was made on Toby's website and social media channels early this morning that he "...passed away peacefully last night on February 5th, surrounded by his family. He fought with grace and courage. Please respect the privacy."

Toby revealed a couple of years ago he had been battling stomach cancer, but recently had been making some more public appearances and resumed playing live shows in Las Vegas in December.

Toby has been a Country icon for 30 years, recording a long list of unforgettable songs like "Should've Been A Cowboy," "How Do You Like Me Know?" "Courtesy Or he Read, White and Blue" and so many more. He was a true American patriot who did all he could to support our nation and troops, with countless visits and performances for those performing overseas. He stood up for what he believed in and did things his way. He was an American original.

Our prayers and thoughts are with Toby's family during this difficult time.

Toby, you will be missed. Rest In Peace...
